Aunt Criselda and Grandma allowed Davon to stay in their house. They didn't even oblige him to pay any rent but instead helped them tending their garden during his free time. Still, Davon insists on giving them his share of the expenses.

Being kind to him and letting a stranger stay in their humble home means a lot to Davon. Tending the garden wasn't enough to repay them.

"You're in a good mood," Davon hummed while arranging the books.

"Why shouldn't I? Life is great, my mate."

"Hahaha, really? Tell me," I propped my chin on the counter, facing him.

"Because I want to ask you out on a date later if that's okay with you," he leaned closer and rubbed her nose on my nose.

Davon was actually learning some natural human ways now. I'm impressed with how he blossomed these past few months.

"A date, and where are you going?"

"It's a secret. It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you," he winked seductively and climbed to the second floor.
