Pancho POV

“Mom?.” I called walking into her room.

“Pancho.” She jumped immediately she saw me, hiding something behind her.

I squinted my eyes, “Mom, are you okay?.”

She nodded.

“yes, I just had a headache.” She answered stuttering slightly.

I shrugged, “Okay then, just take a rest. I’m going to the ranch.”

I closed her door and walked away.

“What was she hiding?.” I wondered out loud, then suddenly crashed into someone.

“Argh!.” I groaned and looked up, it was Becca.

“You should be more careful.” She glared at me.

“I’m sorry ma’am.” I teased jokingly.

She rolled her eyes and was about to walk away but I stopped her.

“I’m going to the ranch, want to come along?.” I offered.

She bit her lips in hesitation.

“Think of it as a tour.” I added with a smile.

“Okay, fine!.” She agreed.

We walked to the stables first.

“I hope you have forgiven me and Theodore already for how we treated Aria.” I said with a small smile.

She furrowed her brows, “you didn’t do anything.”
