The voice that called out seemed to belong to Thane. Unfortunately, I couldn't find his whereabouts in the penthouse. I stopped what I was doing and returned to my room. I played with my phone, looked at what was trending on social media, and researched the dark world. Finally, drowsiness came and drifted me into sleep.
