LEILANI'S POV:

I slowly opened my eyes when felt the other side of the bed dipped.

Dylan just come in.

I wondered what the time was.

I held my breath, trying not to give it away that i just woke up.

He pulled the duvet up to my waist to cover my thighs that were outside and I closed my eyes.

Even in the dark he couldn't bear the thought of seeing me as a woman.

Why do I expect anything to change just because we got married?

Why was I expecting him to treat me like a wife and cuddle me.

This is business to him just like everything else.

Why do i have to raise my hope high? Just why?

I was a dumbass.

I shouldn't have placed my expectations on him or anything but i did and i have myself to be blamed for it. No one else but myself.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Then I turned around and placed my hand on his chest.

I noticed his sharp intake of breath when i touched him but he finally calmed down and I relaxed on him.
