Chapter 33

Adonis

When the three of us asked the voice that came through Sofiya who they were, someone poked me in the chest with a finger, and my vision slowly started to get blurry. I was watching Vivian and Benita argue, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. Their voices sounded like they were coming from very far away. I was struggling so hard to stay steady and keep from falling. I tried to open my eyes so I could see better, but before I could, someone put their thumbs on either side of my temples, and I fell as my body swayed.

Open your eyes, Mr Adonis. I heard an old man say something.

I took them out. As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw birds flying around in the sky and heard the ocean waves. I quickly straightened my back and looked around me quickly. On either side of the beautiful blue sea, there were pebbles made of limestone. It had no trees or anything else. It's just a blue sea and a bird that flies around.

Where exactly is this? And how did I get to this weird place? I
