Adonis started laughing out loud, and everyone in the wing stopped talking. We were all surprised to see him laughing like that, including me. I forgot how much it hurt and started laughing with him, which made our men laugh, too. When I laughed, I felt pain, betrayal, and shame about what I had done to the pack. If I'm going to be punished, I should feel worse than I do right now.
