With Helen sitting on Vincent's lap, Vincent spoke up after a while. They had all gotten a piece of the cake. Adrianna was still quiet and had not spoken a word to Vincent since he came in. Davis could not contain his excitement.

“During the fight, I came face to face with Raymond. I was shocked he was the one behind the scheme. I knew if you had known, you wouldn't want to fight anymore, so I tried to reach you to know what to do because if I had killed him, I wasn't sure you'd be pleased”

His eyes were fixed on Davis, who looked from him to the ground. Back then, he would have not been pleased, but not anymore. Now, he is more than delighted to take the man's life by himself

One thing he thought of back then was the words of his godfather. To always protect each other, and look after one another, but he could see that Raymond never really considered him family. So he'll stop seeing him as one from now on, the ones who are his family are the ones sitting here and the o
