Raymond's POV

I made my way to the garden where I was told the private investigator was. I have been waiting for his arrival for days now, so I can say, I was eager to know what he had found out.

The minute he saw me coming, he stood up and bowed slightly to me. I nodded before sitting opposite him. He had a gloomy expression on his face, making me wonder what exactly was his problem.

“What's with the face?” I asked him.

He cleared his throat,

“Don, it wasn't an easy search, but I was able to find someone who was related to her”

A smile formed on my face. Really? Then that was good news. There was no need to frown.

“So? Can I see? Is it an aunt or an uncle? Who did you find?” I asked him eagerly. I hate it when he keeps me waiting, but he was one of the best I have seen.

Even when others weren't able to find my parents for me, he was able to. Although it took him some time, he was able to find both my father and my mother. He was good at what he did.
