His Chance?

"You sure, dear?" Lisa entered her room, looking very worried because Bella had finally decided to resume her activities.

Bella turned her head back, looking at her mother and then smiled faintly. "Mom, I'm fine. You don't need to worry," Bella said.

Lisa was about to speak, but Bella knew her mother would say something to stop her, so Bella quickly continued. "Moreover, I would be very sad if I continued to stay at home and not be active. I will always remember what I should forget."

Lisa was stunned. What Bella said was true. So, the woman could only sigh. She could only surrender.

"Alright. Do you want me to take you?" Lisa asked.

Bella shook her head. "No need. I'll just take the train."

Lisa gave her permission. Now Bella was at the train station. She took a deep breath. "This is the new beginning, Bella. There's no use in being sad about what has been changed!" Bella recited those words to herself.
