Chapter Forty three•

Kylie was holding Sheila in her arms when she got a call from Rex. She placed Sheila in her stroller and picked up the call.

"Baby girl." He drawled.

"Really? Am I?" She questioned him.

"I've messed up a couple of times and I'm sorry about it." He apologized.

"Sorry? First you didn't show up at the club you asked me to be and then when during the Broadway show,you just disappeared without congratulating me and you never called since then." She said to him.

"What do you want me to do Kylie? You're married to someone else now and I do try to call you. Do you ever call me?" He demanded turning the tables against her.

"Rex,I'm sorry.. I," She began to feel guilty. 

Out of nowhere, Leo snatched her phone from her hand and placed it on loudspeaker.

"Don't you call this number again. She's now mine." He said and didn't wait to receive an answer as he ended the call.
