Chapter Forty two•

"What are you doing?" She blurted out.

He ignored her outburst still smiling as he pulled back a seat for her.

"Come sit down." He said to her.

Slowly with hesitation,she walked towards him and sat down muttering a thank you and he placed a light kiss on her cheek.

Kylie's stomach flipped and she pulled away from him.

She wondered if he didn't go to work today just to do this.

He sat opposite her still smiling. All she wanted to do was ignore him and just stare ridiculously at him but she could not pretend to be oblivious to the strawberry bruschetta sitting in front of her looking so creamy and gosh.. it was her favorite and also was the chicken piccata and she eyed it.

How did he know these were are favorites?

And like he read her mind, "I've been seeing you tell Nana to make them for you and I did my findings and they turned out accurate." He said.
