Moments later, Sadik was pointing at a group of women that stood in circles around a sort of hole. "That is a well. We get our water from that."

"No hot springs?"

Sadik laughed, "The water is hot in the day time enough. That is how the desert works no? Hot at morning, dry and cold at night? We do not need any springs."

"What if the water dries up?"

"It will not,"

"How sure are you?"

"Oh I am not at all," Sadik laughed. "But I believe it will not. For it has been that way for five hundred years and has not dried up once."

Leonidas turned his attention back to the well, noticing some women that were dressed in attires that covered every part of their body asides their eyes while the others covered their head and few, just left their hair out.

"It is tradition for some of us to keep our head covered," Sadik replied. "The other women you see wear a niqab. It shows they are married and we are not to look at them too much."

Why am I the only one that does not see the idealogy in that manner
