May's kids had gone to bed as I sat alone now with her in the sitting room. She was sipping a very hot tea, says something about her being cold."How have you been since May?" I asked, interjecting on the silence which had existed ever since we put the kids to bed.

"Oh, yeah," Her eyes swivel on me briefly before she takes it away staring at space again.
