Chapter thirty nine

Emily's POV

When I get home, I find Tyler sitting on the couch and he looks at me but doesn't say anything. I couldn't be happier cause right now I don't even have the strength to put up with him. I walk past him and head straight for the room.

On getting to the room, I kick off my slippers and place it by the door before going over to sit on the bed. Flashbacks from what happened at Jace's house replays in my mind.

After a few minutes I decide to call him and apologize. I might have overreacted. I shouldn't have slapped him. He doesn't pick my call so I try calling him again but still yet he doesn't pick. He must still be angry so I send him a text. I wait for his reply but he doesn't reply and then I sigh tiredly. It's already quite late. I decide to take a shower and change my clothes before going to bed and luckily Tyler doesn't come in until late at night after I must have slept off.
