Chapter sixty

Emily's POV

When we finally pull away, we're both panting breathlessly. It feels like it's the thousandth time that we've kissed together and I can't help the feeling bubbling inside me as he wraps his arm around me, pulling me along with him towards a small gathering of people.

He greets a few people and takes an envelope which is handed over to him by a huge muscular man and he tosses the envelope into his back pocket.

After greeting a few more people and saying our goodbye to Trevor,Tyler leads me to the car and helps me get in.

As he starts the engine, I can't help the thoughts running through my head and I ask him,"So let me get this straight. In the daytime you're Tyler Remington,the asshole who I'm helplessly in love with and then at night you're Blade?" I ask and he nods.

"That explains why your knuckles are always bruised" I say after a few seconds and he says "pretty much"

"I'm so proud of you baby"I say, smiling at him.
