April POV

After Kyle pulled back from that mind-blowing kiss it took a few seconds for it to register what he said. It caused heat to rise in my cheeks as I replied. “Hi.” I lay there staring at him as a smile broke out across his face. I could see Blizzard right near the surface trying to get Autumn’s attention. She was just as eager as Blizzard. ‘We can’t do anything yet.’ I told her. ‘We need to make sure that Meg is OK and that the Doctor gives Kyle the all-clear to leave the clinic. I am not having my first time with Kyle or anyone for that matter in a hospital bed.’

‘Fine, only because I don’t want to hurt mate.’ Autumn says with a huff and sulks off into the corner of my mind. I tried to push myself off of Kyle but with the way his arm tightened around me, I could tell he wasn’t having any of that. “Kyle I need to go and tell the nurses that you are awake,” I said trying again to sit up.
