‘Are you going to let me go anytime soon?’ He chuckled, but I didn’t loosen my grip. I was terrified this wasn’t real and the second I let him go, he would just vanish. ‘I missed you’. He told me, tightening his arms around me and kissing my neck.

‘I missed you too’. My voice broke at the end and fresh tears free-fell down my cheeks. ‘How did you know I was here, I was meant to meet-’ I stopped mid sentence when I realized, ‘Peyton and Luke told you to come here, didn’t they?’

‘Yeah. Imagine my surprise’.

‘You didn’t know he was sneaking back here to see her?’ He shook his head.

‘No, you best believe if he did, I’d have come with him. I wouldn’t have just ignored you like that’. Eventually, I pulled away from the hug, but he pulled me in for a kiss. Instantly, I melted against him, kissing him back.

When we pulled apart for air, he went to the bar and ordered some drinks and I sat back down again. I couldn’t stop smiling. He was here, and I couldn't be happier.
