She Is Gone

Larisa pushed open the door that led into her living room. She smiled as she saw her grandmother, seated on her usual spot.

"Grandma" she called, flashing a smile as she hurried towards the old lady who now had a bright smile on her face.

"My baby girl is back" She grinned and Larisa hugged her.

Her grandmother hugged her back and Larisa closed her eyes feeling the love of her grandmother for her. She felt a bit more at peace now that she was with someone who understood her.

Slowly, grandmother pulled away from the hug and cupped Larisa's face.

"Have you lost weight?" She asked and Larisa chuckled.

"Of course not, I have been eating well these past few days" she sat beside her grandma.

Grandma held her hands gently.

"Where is your luggage?" She questioned and the smile on Larisa's face faded.

"I... I didn't bring it back but I have enough clothes here and all I need is here, I don't need to bring back all of those stuffs"

Grandma simply gave a knowing smile
