Chapter 63: He's not a human

I have begun what I aim to do. When I entered the Dwell-in-White building, I felt my surroundings but it was not the same as in my first time came here.

I don't have any strange feelings to prove that there is something weird in this company. I could only feel normal human energies around me until I got to Drake's office.

"Good morning!"

I appreciated the attention he gave me that even though he looked busy with what he was doing, he still managed to look at me and wished me good morning.

I automatically replied, "Good morning, sir."

But he says, "Change the word sir to Drake."

My lips form an o and turned into a pout. I said, "I forgot, sorry."

He giggles and I head to my desk. As I moved to start my job, I felt his gaze on me. I pauses for a moment and looks at him, "Do you... Do you have something to say?"

He looked away and shook his head. He chuckles and says, "Nothing, I just want to look at you."

But my mind automatically asks a question if there is really a possibility
