Chapter 70: The plan to escape

Eros isn't awake yet, and I'm waiting for that to happen so I can talk to him. I'm currently watching him, and his body is full of burnt skin. They removed his shirt to make him feel the pain more. His face was full of bruises as if he had been beaten again and again.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. My tears flowed spontaneously out of great conscience. I heard Ethan's voice, "The vampires tortured him a lot but he is trying to fight for everyone. I'm sure if he sees you here he won't like it, but there's nothing we can do."

I wiped my tears and looked at him who was in the other cage. Since it's only made of silver tubes I can still see others locked in cages at the end. I whispered out, "It's my fault. If only I hadn't left his side. Marthana didn't get him—"

But Ethan retorts, "He killed Marthana. I saw how he cut off her head."

I gasped and says, "She deserves it but let's not lose hope, Algie is still outside and I'm sure he's working on a way to save us from here."
