Chapter Fifty-Seven.

“Come on, we’re leaving.”

“Bella” Majorie gasped, throwing her head upon her shoulders. “Since when have you been back?” She arose from the bed and wiped across her teary eyes. Isabella didn’t notice as she charged into the closet, bringing out a few of a clothes they might need.

“Where are we going?” Maj looked around in quagmire.

“We’re going back home. Things are good with Joan again and i have to leave” She clamored between her teeth until Majorie held her arms back. Isabella turned around to face her, by pushing a painful lump down her throat, she was able to hold back her tears.

“What about Leonardo?” Her aunt asked softly, grazing the sides of her chin and Isa turned away. Majorie didn’t hide her knowledge about the both of them in her eyes. She herself had fallen in love, once maybe twice to recognize what they both shared.
