53. Finds out the Truth

Currently, Deasy has successfully obtained the glasses that Lucas is wearing. Just as she was about to take them off, Deasy was startled when Lucas suddenly opened his eyes and gently held her hand.

For a moment, the man gazed at Deasy's face. He stared closely, then soon smiled and said softly.

"Why aren't you asleep yet, honey?"

Deasy froze for a moment. She was confused about how to answer Lucas's seemingly simple and straightforward question. It felt like she wanted to escape. She was incredibly embarrassed to be caught wanting to do something with the man in front of her.

"I-I..." Deasy stammered.

"I what?"

"I-uh..."

"Huh? What's wrong?"

"Uh? No!" Deasy interjected while shaking her head repeatedly. She was still nervous and struggling to figure out what to say to Lucas.

"So, what's the matter?"

"Nothing, really," Deasy finally answered. "Actually, before going to sleep, I wanted to kiss you again. When I looked closely at your face, it seemed a bit strange."

"Strange?"
