58. Dissapoint

"Della, did you see Ms. Deasy?"

Lucas appeared puzzled. Since he returned from the meeting, he hadn't seen Deasy in his office at all. He had some work to discuss with her, and her absence was starting to worry him.

Even when Lucas tried to contact her as Lucas Orion, his girlfriend didn't respond. This made him both anxious and concerned.

"She's not in her office, Sir. It seems like she's gone out."

Lucas nodded.

"For a while now? I noticed she hasn't been around for a bit. There's something important I want to discuss about work."

"I'll try to find her and get in touch, Sir," Della said. "If I locate her, I'll let Ms. Deasy know to meet you in your office."

"Yes, thank you very much for your help."

After Della left the room, Lucas picked up his phone again. He checked repeatedly, hoping for a response from Deasy to the text messages he had sent.
