Forty Eight

NATALIE'S POV

I woke up that morning from a delightful dream, and I was a little bit happy, or maybe even more than a little bit.

I'm my dream. I saw my father, and I caught up with him, telling him about my experience here and about his beta too, how he betrayed the pack, and he advised me to be very careful. Then I said to him that I would soon avenge him. I promised that immediately I left here, I would train up many of our men, and even if it's to hire some, one way or the other, we would be back to defeat the Night Walker.

I made a promise to him, but all he just asked for was to be careful. I nodded happily, and before I could hug him, he disappeared, but I was still happy. At least I got to see and talk to him about my plans.

Today will be a great day. I could feel it in my bones.
