Natalia's POV

I watched as the air hung heavy with the scent of mourning in the dimly lit corridors of the wolf palace. The alpha of the pack, a majestic gray wolf who had led with strength and wisdom, had succumbed to the ravages of time. As word spread through the palace, a somber atmosphere enveloped every corner.
