Chapter 74

Amara carefully sat on the couch across from Thaddeus, assuming an elegant posture.

"Excuse me, Mr. Holt, were you looking for me?"

Before she could finish, Thaddeus gave Jordan a look, then returned his attention to his phone.

Amara's heart sank a little.

After that, Jordan did all the talking. He asked her a few questions she couldn't understand before dismissing her. Throughout the entire process, Thaddeus didn't even say a word to her.

Following that, Jordan interviewed the second person, the third person, until the fourteenth person using the same method.

"Mr. Holt, we've eliminated everyone on the list, and we still can't find Ms. Lolly. Could it be that the IP address provided by Rowan was inaccurate?"

Thaddeus rubbed his temples, refusing to believe that there was actually someone within the country he couldn't find.

A moment later, Thaddeus stood up, buttoned his suit, and walked out of the hotel.

Once outside, he lit a cigarette and took out his phone to make a call.
