Won’t give a damn

He’s wrong. He doesn’t own a part of me. Because at the very beginning, I’m all his - All of me.

“Honey, oh my god! Where did you get this !? ”

Mom's reaction was shock when I handed her the check powerlessly. I can't even look into his eyes. I looked at dad that’s now looking at me too, he didn’t speak as he still doesn’t know what’s going on but his eyes are like reading my emotion.

“You must pay your debt now, mom. And I'll try to talk to, Echo. ”

I simply answer him. Mom's jaw still dropped while looking at the cheque like as if she still couldn't believe what she’s holding.

I approached dad, I held his hand and even though he won’t say it just by looking at his eyes I know he’s thanking me.

”Please get well soon. I can still remember your face years ago at the orphanage. You told me you’ve always wanted a baby girl and that I’ve made your dream come true. ” I uttered.

Tears clouded his eyes, as if something was pinching my heart.

”Thank you for having me as a part of your family.
