Ryan had spent eleven hours at work today and he was exhausted, he was even more exhausted because he still hadn't gotten a lead on Lara's case. Ryan had a dream last night, he saw Eleanor in his arms and they were happy together but soon she began to slip from his arms, she vanished without saying a word to him and her face had fear written all over it. Ryan knew he had to wake up, he awoke from his dream with a difficulty. He found himself on his bed back home but something felt strange within him and he just couldn't get his head around it. Suddenly, three masked men were standing in his room with huge baseball bats pointed at him, they began to move towards him with the aim of beating him up! "No no no!!!" The next morning, Ryan woke up in his car clueless of how he got there. "Uhhhh!" He complained bitterly about the pains he felt all over his body. He felt a sharp pain on his lips and when touched it, a little stain of blood followed his finger tip. He gasped!He quickly bent the rear view mirror over to his side so he could have a better look at his face.Ryan was shocked to see bruises all over his face along with a swollen eye— one of his eye was so swollen that the skin underneath the eye and his eyelid became so close to each other, he could almost not see with that eye. Ryan sighed with sadness. He could recall what happened to him last night and they must've taken him to his car when he blacked out. He also remembered that the front tires of the car were flattened out. He threw a punch at the steering wheel in anger. He got down from the car with a struggle; as he ached all over. He felt a deathly pain in his arm and leg, he had to lean over on the car to aid his movement.
