“No, sir,” she says before backing away.

“I don’t mind sending both of you away from my mansion,” I mumble. “Since you think you can speak back to me because you are my boss or the owner of the mansion.”

She goes on her knees and begs. “I dare not, sir. Please forgive me. Sir, I will never cross the line again. Please forgive me for this one time.”

“It’s ok. You may rise,” I say, waving my hand. “This time, Mandy, I’ll forgive you. There will be no more chances.”

I turn to face the other maids after warning her. “You should all know your position. Don’t try to convert anything that isn’t yours. You’re merely here to work and be paid; don’t start thinking you’re entitled to be the lady of the house. Only her,” I respond, pointing to my mate. “Only she deserves to be my woman; you must respect her.”

“Yes, sir,” they respond, bowing their heads. “Welcome home, madam.”

She merely smiles at them without saying anything.
