My mate's fight with Binta makes me pleased. She is so powerful that she effortlessly subdues her. I am so proud of her.

'Our mate is so strong.' Red growls even louder. He is more content than I am. Binta's father is a piece of garbage. Perhaps that is how humans are. I have no idea that preserving the queen's life will require me to marry his daughter. He's more ambitious than I thought. I know people can be selfish, but he is much more greedy.

"You are so strong, and I like the way you handle her," I say. "I love you so much, darling."

She blinks her eyes open and stares at me in astonishment.

"Thank you," she murmurs, covering her face.

"When will you stop being so shy in front of me?" I ask, removing her hand. "You don't have to feel shy in front of me. Both of us are equal." I touch her lovely, gleaming hair. "Thank you for being my mate." I carry her and carefully place her on the bed. "I promise to share your happiness and sadness." She flushes. Almost tomato-like in col
