Prologue

The world is mathematically and scientifically worked out. But how do they explain love? Yes I'm not a scientist at all, and I don't comply to their morals, but before Bella, I actually understood where they came from. I actually believed that love was just a chemical reaction that went off in your mind when you met a certain person and most of the time I just thought people who claimed they were in love were just total idiots and just wanted attention. But I found my person, my soulmate if you will and not many people are lucky enough to meet and date their soulmate. But then again nobody ever said that life was fair. I stared at her from a distance, watching her as she danced around and laughed with her friends. I nervously pulled at the tie around my neck, and straightened it back. As I began to stride towards her, I felt a familiar hand slide down my back and a shiver of pure disgust ran through my body. I knew that touch all to well. I turned around to tell her to fuck off, when I felt her lips, that was before, heaven to me, on mine and I pushed her away, trying so hard not to gag in her face. She looked at me with a evil smile plastered on her mouth and when I turned around, I saw exactly what she was smiling about. Bella was looking at us, with utter shock and it was quickly replaced by sadness. The laughter that was around her once before had dissapeared out of thin air, and everyone around us was looking at the three of us. Bella looked between us one last time before turning around and running out of the school hall. Amber stepped in my way to stop me from running after Bella, but I shoved her out of the way and ran after Bella. When I got outside, I looked around and turned in circles as I tried to spot her. Just as I was about to go back into the school, I saw her dress out of the corner of my eye and saw her on the corner of the street, waving at a taxi. I sighed in relief and started jogging towards her.
