Chapter 42

“ Archer, what are you doing here?" Bellamy asked as she helped him up while Nicklaus helped Rosemary.

“ I found it. " Archer said breathing heavily.

“ The antitode?"

“ Yes I found it. "

“ Thank heavens. But why did you come through the back?" Bellamy asked and he looked back before staring at her.

“ We were attacked by some men on the palace road. " Rosemary replied.

“ Attacked?"

“ Twice, the first was after we came out of the forest, the second was here. We had to take a double route and came through the back. " Rosemary explained.

“ I need to get the cure to mother now. “ Archer said and Bellamy nodded.

They half ran and half walked to the queen's chambers. She was breathing heavily like someone who had asthma. Her eyes were still closed and her skin was pale and dry.

“ Mother. " Archer called silently as he fought back the tears.

“ The royal physician's been using heat to keep her alive. " Bellamy sighed.

“ She won't be needing that anymore. " Archer muttered as he walk
