Chapter Fourteen

'We are done. Please don't text me or talk to me ever again.'

I sent him a text and switched off my phone that night after Lucy left. I also told my dad not to let Tristan in, if he ever comes home to see me.

I couldn't sleep peacefully and kept watching sad romance movies to make myself, even more, sadder and finally, I fell asleep, exhausted from all the crying.

The next day, I had no motivation to go to school but I had to, so I dragged myself to the shower and cringed at my own reflection in the bathroom mirror. My eyes were all swollen and puffy and my face was pale and lifeless.

Don't even get started about my hair.
