Chapter Twenty Two

We reached a small burger joint which was a bit far from the school and it was not that much crowded except for some adults.

"Are you sure we can make it back to school in time?" I asked, looking down at my watch.

"Of course and it's not that big of a deal to skip school once in a while." He stated as we sat down in one of the empty booths.

"You are such a bad influence, Tristan Harris." I chuckled, pulling my hair to one side as it was all over the place.

"You love me, anyway." He winked, kissing my cheeks and my body went still at his response. He must have mentioned it funnily and casually but the thought of being in love with him made me feel warm and fuzzy. I wasn't sure if I could see myself with him in the future but it wasn't rocket science, I was obviously falling hard for him.

"Riley?" he waved his hand in front of my face and I looked at him, breaking my trail of thoughts.

Hmm how long hS he wanted to do this?? has he been in love with her since 7th grade when he turned in to an ass with her? making fun of her? why do boys do stupid stuff like that ?
