My head was spinning as I saw Lena stuck in a corner screaming and drawing all the attention of the zombies towards her. I cursed as I took off my seat belt and drop out of the car. The people who lived in the house left a lot. There where clothes few snacks and lots of water. The medical kit was all stacked up and it made everything easier. But the only problem was that maybe the food was expired because I doubt they left not too long. "I found some clothes" Lena announced as she put on long sleeved shirt which looked a little bit big but she pulled it off. I guess the kid was a little older than her. I walked into the master's bedroom and fished out some clothes mostly dresses tho. Which was starting to piss me off then I found some trousers and overalls. I peered down at Lena as I saw her bloody hands. She looked really scared and I know she was in a lot of pain. I then carried her as fast as I could into the house as I set her down. I began to rummage through our medical supplies. I found a bottle of peroxide and some cotton balls but I know I wasn't ready to stich just yet well I hope it doesn't need stitches.She was crying softly when I returned and my heart sunk. We've been cooped up in this house for a week now and I was starting to go crazy. Apart from the reoccurring nightmares about that day. The day I stabbed someone to death the day I watched a man struggle as he took his last breath. Lena usually tells me about my sleep talking every morning. We decided it was finally time to get more ammo. And I thought it would be nice to return to the shop we went first where we found Moe and Kayla. I was presently seated on the floor next to Lena who was sleeping soundly. We already planned on going to the shop the next day and I was having a hard time trying to sleep. The next morning came in a rush. I packed most of the things the night before since I couldn't sleep. By the time we where done, the car trunk was full. I looked back at the house it really saved us. I woke up to the sound of shuffling. I looked around in severe panic as I looked at Lena's side. She was awake and she looked at me. "Ethel....... what's going on" she said looking as confused as I was. "I don't know kiddo let me check" I stood up and peeped out of the window. I saw a lot of people down shooting at some zombies which were approaching in a herd . I immediately ran to my bag fishing out my gun. It was loaded and ready to go. "Stay here and keep your head down" she looked like she wanted to say something but she just nodded. I bursted out of the room and I ran towards the stairs. I stopped when I spotted Amanda. The next wasn't any easier. We woke up very early and began to move the dead zombies so we could burn them. A lot of people kept complaining about the weight but I just did what I could so that I could leave right away. The sun was already up when we finished moving the bodies and I was very tired I needed a nap. After a shower, I took a nap and woke up very late in the evening when it was raining heavily. I sighed as I looked outside ."Dammit" I said I overslept and now we where stuck one more night. "Ethel..are we staying here?"Lena asked. We where eating dinner.
