Chapter Nineteen

I woke up to the sound of shuffling. I looked around in severe panic as I looked at Lena's side. She was awake and she looked at me.

"Ethel....... what's going on" she said looking as confused as I was.

"I don't know kiddo let me check" I stood up and peeped out of the window. I saw a lot of people down shooting at some zombies which were approaching in a herd . I immediately ran to my bag fishing out my gun.

It was loaded and ready to go.

"Stay here and keep your head down" she looked like she wanted to say something but she just nodded.

I bursted out of the room and I ran towards the stairs. I stopped when I spotted Amanda. At the bottom of the stairs.

"Where are you going" she said and I just pushed passed her.
