Atasha's POV

After spending a day at the shelter I fell in love with Conrad even more.

Whenever he's with the kids his cold facade was gone.

The way he smiles at those kids you can feel his love for them...you can feel his warmth.

"Why are you staring at me?" he asked then threw a glance at me before bringing his eyes back to the road.

I simply smiled and then shook my head.

"I love you," I said. Conrad looked at me again with a genuine smile plastered on his face.

"I love you Atasha," he responded.

When we arrived at his unit he decided to cook lunch.

I watched Conrad as he prepare our food but my attention was diverted when I felt my phone vibrate.

I took out my phone and upon looking at the screen I saw Sebastian's name so I immediately answered the call.

"What is it?" I asked upon answering the call.

"Dad... he's having an attack, we need you here," and upon hearing those I immediately grabbed Conrad's keys lying on the table.
