Chapter 47

Victor placed me down on what I could only assume was his own bed. It was heavenly, soft than the ones back at Slate pack. I felt myself fall into the soft, comforting, and safe embrace giving in to the urge to sleep.

I woke up, excited as I was able to actually open my eyes. I felt overwhelmed as I glanced around Victor’s room. It was devoid of color, devoid of any memories or anything that would make it his. The walls, furniture, and curtains were all different shades of grey, perhaps I had been incorrect in assuming he put me in his room?

“Luna.” A happy Dimitri sat next to the bed, giving me a smile that seemed forced.

“What…? Umm… Where am I?”

He squinted his eyes as his smile dropped, “at Crimson pack, in your room?”

I ignored his bewildered tone “no, like… I…” I sighed frustrated at myself “is this Victor’s room?”

He smirked “why? Would you prefer that?”

I felt my face redden as I looked away slightly annoyed at his teas

Cont. without establishing that she now feels the bond. He should have been by her side when she woke. Should have had a moment of acknowledgment that she too feels it. It went from -50 to 1,000 in a nano second. Missed opportunities there.

There is a big error in the sentence when Victor says “it was a month before my first “shift”. You may want to edit that.
