Chapter 32

Alexander's POV

I grabbed my father by his shirt and pulled him toward me, not caring that he was in his office, surrounded by some of the employees. "What did you do this time, father?", I demanded. "TELL ME WHAT YOU DID!", I shouted. He first looked at the employees and then at me. My father was calm, not the least bit frightened by my outburst. Why would he be? After all, he was the one who had taught me everything I knew.

His eyes were studying me closely, taking in my composure.

"I didn't do anything, son!", he finally answered. "And you know me that I'm not a backstabber. If I would have to do anything with her then I would have done that by telling you, not when you were away from the home."
