The Apology

Jessie's Pov

"Xander, stop!" Breathless, I dug my foot against the door and watched it as if flung open.

His eyes snapped to my direction, as mine trailed up his arm to see him holding unto Kimberly's neck. He looks so furious that I began to wonder how Kimberly had the nerves to come right into his room and challenge him.

I marched into the room, and pointed my index finger at my sister's neck while having my gaze fixated on him. Kimberly snarled, causing my gaze to waver and flip back to her.

"Can you just tell this scumbag to-" before she could end her words, I pressed my palm over her mouth and hushed her up. I looked straight at Xander, "Please, pardon her."

"Next time, teach her to stay in her lane!" He spat, pushing himself off her and releasing her neck. She almost slumped down on the floor but I was quick to grab her, removing my hand from her mouth.

Annoyed, I grabbed her forearm and stalked out of the room with her. Entering my room, I jabbed the door shut and shoved her i
