Leaving the Royal House

The Queen kept rambling on and on about duties as we walked around the palace. I couldn't help but wonder if her mouth wasn't aching her for having to talk this much. It was tiring and exhausting just to listen to her.

The girls weren't doing better themselves. They were barely listening to a word she was saying but they just kept nodding to make her believe they were listening.

"Any plans on how to get rid of her?" Maya asked telepathically and I glanced at them but their eyes were both fixed on the Queen.

I remained quiet not replying her. I'd rather endure the Queen's torture than talk to any of them. If they couldn't admit their wrongs then I have no reason to talk to them.

"Are you going to keep giving us silent treatment?" Naya fumed acting like the victimized one where as I was the victim of their disloyalty and secrets.

"You don't get to get angry when you're the one at fault," I replied, glaring at her.

"We did nothing but keep a secret that wasn't ours to tell?" Maya retorte
