STEFAN’S POV

I was in my car, staring outside, although, the window was shut tight.

“Sir, I have successfully cancelled your appointments, today.” My secretary said.

“Alright. Turn on the music, but I need it on a low volume.” I instructed as I didn’t take my gaze off the window.

~Flashback~

I was annoyed with the way Melissa treated me, and if she didn’t want me to treat her like she is special to me, anymore, then so be it. I was going to show her how empty she was going to feel, when I stop indulging myself in her life. Then I thought of a way to start doing that. An obvious way to make her heart pinch at her, to let her know that she has done wrong for lashing out at me.

Also, I needed to take a break from the hurt my heart went through and I needed a vacation, to settle things and set my head straight.
