Alpha Damon’s POV

As we left the gates we marched out. It was time, I let the breeze blow my hair and inhaled it. In a few days the air would smell of blood and death of multiple people.

We started the journey. We should get to our destination by nightfall or before nightfall hopefully. The pack would be tired even though they won’t show it so we might stop at a particular point to rest and start again.

Asher was by my side and so was Leo.

We kept going and going till we got to a particular place and stopped. We all geared the sound of breaking twigs and branches. It seemed as if someone was hiding in the shadows and was waiting fir us to be distracted or ignore it before it could attack.

We turned and something came out. It was a wild rabbit. And to think that it was an animal ot person following us. We could not tell if alpha Lucien finally reasoned and appointed a follower. To keep following us around to know our stops but it was just a mere rabbit.
