Tamara fiddled with the bracelet on her wrist and let out a deep sigh at the opportunity to rest for a bit.

It wasn’t that working as Marco’s assistant was particularly tedious or awful. In fact, they spent more time preparing their new company than she spent serving him, but Mrs. Donatelli had no concept of that.

She seemed to believe that Tamara was a slave to her son and hence destined to serve her every whim.
