“Tamara it’s important that we talk,” Francesca’s voice cracked as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“You can’t run away from this like you ran away from Marco,”

Anger and hurt filled Tamara as she shook her head. “I did not—“

“Oh please just stop!” Francesa crossed her arms “Do you really not know he’s in love with you? Anyone within a five mile radius of you two can see it clearly,”

Tamara swiped at her tears angrily. She didn’t want to talk about this. Her relationship or lack of friendship with Marco was not Francesca’s business.

“I don't run from my problems, I don’t want to speak to you,” Tamara’s voice broke as she turned the door knob to leave.

“Have you texted Marco or called him back?”

Tamara froze at Francesca’s words.

“I bet you haven’t. Because you’re scared. Fine, keep on running but I’m out,”

With that, Francesca wiped at her tears furiously and rushed out of the massage parlor leaving Tamara with her hand on the knob and a shocked expression on her face.
