I wondered why she cut me off, sometimes I just wish Horace didn't get to reclaim me. I think my life would have been better and simpler if he hadn't.

No one will know who I am, and I won't have to be scared to die the way I am now.

My mom had risked her life for me multiple times and died, but I wouldn't let that go to waste.

"But werewolves don't see through walls," Lilith said as our eyes met, wrinkling my eyes. I wondered how serious the statement she made was.

"Are you saying Horace isn't a werewolf?" I asked, becoming more inquisitive.

But I knew that wasn't possible, I had seen him shift into his wolf form countless times.

"I'm not going to conclude that, he's a wolf, that's why he's the Alpha... Nothing more, nothing less," she said.

I knew she was aware of something, but she didn't want to tell me, or probably she didn't want me to get worried.
