LUCIEN... HE'S HERE. I thought I won't be seeing him until later. I was about to open my mouth to greet him but I halted when I realized how dark and cold his expression is.Have I done something wrong?

After Lucien said those he took his leave without even looking at me. I felt a sudden pain in my chest because of his sudden indifference.

THE NEXT DAY I woke up to a knock from outside the door. I quickly rose from the bed and fixed the sheets. I then fix my hair as I marched towards the door.
