LUCAS'S POV:

The door of my office opened, and Rolf entered with the spy who had just returned from the Shadow Moon Pack behind him. I sat up on the sofa, which was still littered with papers since I moved there for my work instead of the desk.

"Alpha." The two of them greeted with a salute while Rolf added, "I brought in the spy, sir. He just came back with news from the Shadow Moon Pack, and he said he has urgent news to relate to you."

I was instantly at alert at this. If there was urgent news from that place, then it must be something very big. Although I was still sceptical. Tristan was always a wary man. Even if he didn't notice there was a spy amongst his people, surely he wouldn't be so careless for important news to spill out. So, I doubted the news he brought was any useful. But, I still needed to know anyway.

"Okay, sit," I told the man, who immediately bowed while Rolf left the room. "I'm all ears."
