chapter 100: Narrow escape

~ Lumiére's POV~

Lumiére kept staring at the young Vampire standing in front of him. It was hard for him to believe that this vampire wasn't Noah. How could someone who looked exactly like Noah be here in the outlaw lands? It was a complete mystery.

What the hell!

"Are we there yet?" he asked impatiently.

The Vampire rolled his eyes. "You guys seem really impatient," he remarked, shaking his head.

The Vampire spoke just like Noah. Damn! Lumiére followed him through a series of underground tunnels until they reached the basement of a building.

"Stay here," the Vampire instructed, stepping out of the door. After a few moments, he returned and signaled to Lumiére.

"You can come out now... it's safe," he said.

Lumiére let out a sigh of relief and followed him up the narrow staircase. He had to be careful not to fall as he climbed the stairs and was grateful when he saw a door. The lookalike of Noah opened the door and led them through a narrow hallway.
