Raven's POV

Raven slowly opened her eyes, greeted by the sterile surroundings of what seemed to be an infirmary. The white-tiled walls and the IV drip connected to her hand indicated that she was back at the Watchtower.

A sense of relief washed over her, knowing that she had been brought back from the brink of death. How that had happened, she didn't know.

Recalling the events that led to her current state, Raven shuddered at the memory of the vampire's claws sinking into her neck.

Instinctively, she reached up to touch the area, only to find it concealed beneath a protective plaster. She couldn't help but wonder how they had managed to revive her.

It defied all logic. She should have been dead by now, but here she was. Alive.

As the door swung open, a figure clad in a white coat entered the room. Raven noticed that this must be the doctor.
